Mother Daughter Tea Party 2017

Mother/Daughter Tea Party

This year, our Mother/Daughter Tea Party was held on
April 29th, 2017 at Ginter Park United Methodist Church
in Richmond, Virginia.

The Tea Party was a fun and exciting event! It allowed our teen moms, as well as their mothers and their mentors, to share both tea and their experience YoungLives, as well as share with eachother a fellowship in God over tea and cake!

YoungLives women both young and old were able to join us this
year, making it an amazing night to be remembered!

Guests lined up at the buffet - where an assortment of delicious foods and wonderful catering, provided by Chef Earl Lee and Winnie Williams, awaited them.
Kathy and Zelda Hinkle joined us this year at the Tea, and accompanying them were nine of their girls from Girl Power Grants!
Kristi Beabout was a great help - she manned the ticket counter and was an amazing table host.
The tables were beautifully decorated, and conversation was fun and lively - guests had a great time!
An amazing speech was made about YoungLives by the one and only Georgia Bello.
This year, special guests Kathy and Zelda Hinkle made an appearance - they served as both table hosts and representatives for Girl Power Grants.
Mother's and Daughters of all ages were able to bond through this event!
Guests loved the table placements and the company that came along with it!
For our fashion show, Samiah had shown off one of the beautiful outfits donated to us by Peace Pieces.
Another of our models, Maya, was another to show off her fabulous attire during our fashion show!
