Mother Daughter Tea Party 2016

YoungLives Mother/Daughter Tea Party
was held on April 16, 2016 at
Ginter Park United Methodist Church

This event was an excellent opportunity to allow our teen moms to share tea with their mothers and their mentors. We were able to showcase each girl by having her model clothes from Peace Pieces.  Everyone who attended  was excited to share in this special occasion.

Georgia Lewis was our first mentee. She came to the Tea and shared a powerful message about her journey. It was extremely encouraging for our teens. She is studying to become a minister, is married and has a great career. .
Our teen moms were so poised as they walked through the tables showing their outfits.
The girls were so excited because Peace Pieces allowed them to keep the outfits that they modeled.
Our teen moms made such lovely models,
Dianne Claiborne, our former Area Director, Verenda Cobbs, one of our mentors, and Shanita Mickie, our current YoungLives Coordinator loved being able to share this experience with our teen moms
Our guests were encouraged to wear their most stylish hats, and they did not disappoint.
The tables settings made the guests feel so special.
Table conversations were lively and fun.
The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
NaQuita Mickie did a great job being our commentator for the fashion show.
